Diplomatie culturelle...
La Diplomatie culturelle ou le pouvoir fédérateur de l'art a été le thème de la récente conférence d'Opera Europa à Kiev. La capitale de l'Ukraine avait l'air resplendissante au soleil de printemps, et nos hôtes à l'Opéra national d'Ukraine et au Théâtre national de l'opérette de Kiev nous ont offert un accueil généreux à nos plus de 200 délégués.
L'intention expresse de cette initiative était d'atteindre les théâtres de toute l'Ukraine et de les engager à dialoguer avec le reste de l'Europe. Nous avons été récompensés par une forte présence des théâtres importants de Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv et Odessa, ainsi que de plusieurs théâtres plus petits, et une grande délégation de notre cher membre, le théâtre académique national de Lviv, nommé d'après Solomiya Krushelnytska.
