Diplomacia culturale...
"La diplomazia culturale o l'arte che unisce" era il tema della recente conferenza di Opera Europa a Kiev. La capitale dell'Ucraina sembrava risplendente nel sole primaverile ei nostri ospiti all'Opera Nazionale d'Ucraina e al Teatro Nazionale di Operetta di Kiev offrirono un generoso benvenuto al nostro più di 200 delegati.
Era l'intento espresso di questa iniziativa di raggiungere i teatri in tutta l'Ucraina e di impegnarli in dialogo con il resto d'Europa. Siamo stati premiati da una forte presenza dai principali teatri di Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv e Odessa, oltre a diversi teatri più piccoli e una grande delegazione del nostro caro membro il Teatro Nazionale Accademico di Opera e Balletto, nominato a memoria di Solomiya Krushelnytska.
