Located in Tirana, near "Skanderbeg Square, the National Theater of Opera and Ballet is one of the most symbolic institutions of the Albanian art and culture and at the same time a dignified business card of operistic culture, for a public that is not familiar with it. Founded in 1953, the National Theater of Opera and Ballet (TKOB) is a multi functional institution that combines domestic creations with regional ones and broader. TKOB aims to promote the operatic culture for the local spectator, but at the same time encourages the creation of links and cooperation ,to exchange experiences with other theaters abroad, in order to increase the level of quality of the performances that TKOB introduces for the domestic public and abroad.
