A word about this company

NorrlandsOperan was founded in 1974. Over the years, we have developed from a regional opera ensemble into a centre for performing arts with regional commissions and a broad range of activities. NorrlandsOperan includes a symphony orchestra and opera, dance, music departments, as well as Vita Kuben - our contemporary art gallery. NorrlandsOperan also has its own production workshops and studios and its own ticket office. The opera house houses a restaurant and bar "Elektra" operated by an external restaurateur.
