A word about this company

In September 2012, the ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana was celebrating 120 years of its artistic creativity in the beautiful neo-renaissance theatre, situated in the very heart of the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana. Apart from the regular programme novelties, presented every season, staged as its own productions or cooperated with various international and Slovenian co-producers, the central Slovenian musical theatre boasts today a wide repertoire of operas, ballets and concerts, deriving both from modern and classical, and around 150 season and off-season repetitions on stages at home and at guest performances abroad. The programme of the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
