Following the Opera Europa festivities, the State Opera will present the latest production of Polish director Mariusz Trelinski, Salome on November 25, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. This modern, unique interpretation resonates an interesting perspective on the classic tale of religion, sexuality and power. Gun-Brit Barkmin, who has received critical acclaim for her role of Salome on stages all over the world, returns to Prague to perform the main role.
